DFW Elite Golf League Launches to Bring New Energy to the Local Golf Community

Dallas/Fort Worth, TX — April 2025 — A new chapter in local golf is underway with the launch of the DFW Elite Golf League, bringing fresh energy, expanded opportunities, and a commitment to community, competition, and growth for golfers across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Building on a rich history of women’s golf in the region, the DFW Elite Golf League emerges from a foundation previously established under the Elite Ladies Golf League (ELGL) Texas Chapter. With a strong desire to evolve, innovate, and open new doors for both women and men who love the game, DFW Elite Golf League is proud to chart a bold new course.  DFW Elite Golf League is an entirely new, independent, co-ed league.

"We are excited to create an inclusive and vibrant golf community that celebrates excellence, connection, and the love of the game," said Keema Echols, Director of DFW Elite Golf League. "Our goal is to honor the legacy that inspired us, while creating a dynamic league that meets the needs of today's players and tomorrow’s growth."

The DFW Elite Golf League will feature:

• Twice-monthly play dates at premier courses across the DFW area

• Opportunities for players of all skill levels to compete, learn, and build friendships

• Annual tournaments and special events

• League-wide membership with GHIN handicap services (coming soon)

• Social outings, travel opportunities, and more
